Health inspection checklist
Agricultural Research Service (ARS) of the United States Department of Agriculture has a safety, health and environmental inspection list based on OSHA regulations to help protect workers. The US Department of Commerce also produces an office security and health checklist for employers to make are in compliance with workplace safety standards in the United States
Floors
Both lists ask employers to check whether the floors are safe travel hazards, wet areas, shabby carpets and slippery surfaces. Both lists specifically ask for employers. Make sure bumps, curb cracks and other hazard hazards or floor vents have proper guards to prevent employees from accidentally shooting in or falling on them.
Railings
The ARS checklist asks employers to check if the ladder railroad entrances strong. The US Department of Commerce’s list states that employers that walkways or corridors higher than 48 inches above the ground have standard railings to protect workers from falling.
Office ergonomics
The US Department of Commerce Office Security Inspection List has a section dedicated to the Office’s ergonomics to reduce workplace injuries. Ask employers if workers have a proper lifting and raising AIDS training when needed, such as cars and cars. The checklist also asks if workstations, such as a desktop computer, have designs that prevent ergonomic problems. For example, it suggests chairs that allow workers’ feet to be completely flat on the floor and keyboards at elbow height.
Electric systems
The ARS Health Inspection Checklist protects workers from electrocution hazards and checks to see if electrical equipment and tools are properly grounded if the workplace has sufficient outlets to prevent electricity short circuiting out, electrical panels Are free of obstructions, building electrical system is grounded and without two-pin plugs and if high voltage equipment has protectors to keep vehicles from it.
